Hydroseeding uses a slurry of seed and mulch to provide an effective alternative to traditional planting processes such as broadcasting or sowing dry seed. It is particularly effective for adding new growth to hillsides and sloping lawns, and is often utilized as an erosion control technique on construction sites.
Fast and Easy to Apply
Because seed and fertilizer, hydromulch, tackifier and water are all applied in one fast, easy step, hydroseeding offers property owners the fastest and easiest method of seeding a lawn. There is no need to spread messy and unattractive straw on the planting area, and hydroseeding even allows you to easily seed problem zones, such as hillsides and around trees.
Hydroseeding is very cost effective when compared to sod installation. Hydroseeding deters soil erosion and promotes high germination rates, producing new grass growth within a week, and requiring mowing approximately 3-4 weeks after application.
